Amplifier privacy policy

Effective 7 October 2026 · Invitation-only pilot

Who operates Amplifier

Amplifier is an invitation-only coaching-content pilot operated by Pureplay Studios Ltd. Contact ethan@awaken.is about privacy, access, correction, export or deletion. This policy applies to tryamplifier.com and its Amplifier staging address. Coaches are responsible for permission to record participants, process their recordings and publish selected excerpts. Please avoid uploading material you do not have permission to use.

Information we collect

We store your sign-in email, a salted password digest (not your password), sessions, workspace preferences, editorial feedback and connection information. Your sign-in email is not currently verified through a mailbox verification step; it is also used for posting reminders when you choose that address.

When you connect Zoom, we access the connected host's identity and cloud-recording information needed to locate recordings. We may import the selected video, gallery video, mixed call audio and timed transcript. Recordings and transcripts can include participant names, voices, images and sensitive personal information discussed during coaching. We also store generated clips, captions, suggested comments, review decisions and processing records.

When you connect social accounts, we store account identifiers, publication records and available post/account analytics, including content not published through Amplifier if you request a history sync. We keep the public post metadata and thumbnails made available by the connected providers. We store OAuth grants and supplied integration credentials encrypted in the hosted vault.

How we use it

We use this information to provide your private workspace, import your chosen call files, identify selected transcript voices, propose and render clips, apply your feedback, schedule approved content and show performance. Optional name-label checks use transcript IDs and visible on-screen names; Amplifier does not perform facial recognition. We do not sell your information or use your recordings for advertising. We do not train our own AI models on your content.

AI requests can include the transcript, relevant preferences and feedback, and a bounded number of requested video frames. Transcription requests can include call audio if a transcript is missing and you use that feature. Generated content remains subject to your review. Public publishing is a separate explicit action using the approved content snapshot and selected accounts. Private uploads, inbox delivery and manual posting behave according to your chosen posting method.

Services receiving information

Cloudflare provides the hosted application, private D1/R2 storage, workspace-scoped Durable Objects and rendering Containers. OpenAI provides API-based transcription, clip planning and editing when used. Outstand connects your social accounts, delivers authorised posts and retrieves available analytics. Postmark delivers posting reminders containing your caption and suggested comment. Each receives only information needed for its role. Connected platforms receive the content and account actions you authorise.

These providers may process information outside your country under their own terms and safeguards. Ask us before uploading recordings with location or contractual restrictions. If you use your own provider key, that provider's account terms also apply. A participant's information can become public when you approve and publish an excerpt; review the footage, captions and audience visibility first.

Storage, access and retention

Hosted storage is private and access is scoped to your workspace. Browser sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies over HTTPS; integration credentials are encrypted with workspace-bound authenticated encryption. Authorised operators can access information when necessary to support the pilot, resolve incidents or handle a rights request. No system can guarantee absolute security.

This pilot has no automatic age-based deletion for recordings, generated content or analytics. We retain them while you use the pilot, until you request deletion, or until we close the pilot and arrange removal. Posting links expire and can be revoked; their expiry does not erase the underlying content. Sessions and transient import states have their own expiry. Provider diagnostic logs can have separate retention. Removing an item from the distribution queue does not delete a published social post.

Disconnecting and your choices

You can disconnect Zoom in Connections or remove Amplifier from your Zoom account to stop new access. Amplifier removes the saved Zoom connection when it receives the removal event. Imported recordings and generated clips remain in your workspace until separately removed; disconnecting is not an erasure request. Other providers and public social posts may retain their copies under their own rules.

For access, correction, export, deletion, restrictions or questions about applicable privacy rights, email ethan@awaken.is from your workspace address. We may ask for minimal evidence of account ownership before exposing or removing private data. Deletion requests are handled manually in this pilot. We will explain any data we must retain for security, legal requirements or unresolved incidents, and any provider-held schedules or copies that require separate action. Participants can contact us as well; we will work with the recording owner to identify the relevant information without disclosing another person's workspace.

Cookies and policy changes

Amplifier uses the session cookie needed to sign in. Posting pages use narrow, expiring access links instead of a full account session. We do not add advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers. We will update the date of this policy when it changes and inform pilot users of material changes before applying them.
